Zombie Dice

Today I'm going to be reviewing Zombie Dice..  What is this I hear?  Well if you like Dice and you like Zombies and not too much thinking then this game is going to be up your street.  Its a short 5 minute dice game which is sure to put a smile on your face.

The game consists of a cardboard tube with 13 dice in it.  6 Green, 4 Yellow and 3 Red.  The idea of the game is to get 13 brains before you get shot.  If this sounds a bit simplistic, then it is.  On each of the dice there is either a Brian, a Shotgun blast or some footprints.  You take 3 dice at random from the box and role them.  take any brians you get and put them to one side, then do the same with the shortgun blasts.  Any footprints you are going to get the chance to roll them again.  When you've rolled your three dice you can stick and keep the number of brains, or you can take dice out of the tub and add them to any footprint you have until you have 3 dice again.  Then start again..  If at any time you get a total of 3 shotguns then your dead.  You loose all the brains you've got in that round.

The only degree of difficulty and tactics in this game are deciding when to play on or stick.  Each green dice has 3 brains, two feet and one shotgun, yellow has two brains, two shotguns and two feet, and red has three shotguns, two feet and one brain.

So what is my verdict?  Well if you want 5 minutes of fun then its worth having them out at a gaming session.  I can see this being a great game to determine first player when playing a more complex board or card game.  Its not going to hold your attention for long but for what it costs its worth having.
